Fee: $60 per player (Checks or money order made out to: VSA HS Summer League)

Time: Two 25 minute halves (running clock except injuries).
All games are official after 10 mins into 2nd half.

Rules: All games will start promptly. Please have your teams at the field at least 15 mins before game time. Teams may start with 6 players. After the start of a game, a team may not play with less than 5 players.

The league will be governed by the Federation (H.S.) Rulebook with the following exceptions:

1) Keepers may not punt the ball. The ball must be touched by either team before crossing midfield on any keeper possession. An indirect free kick will be awarded from where the ball crossed over the midfield line.

2) Coaches may substitute on any stoppage of play with referee approval.

3) Yellow Cards: we will not tolerate any misconduct or unsportsmanlike play from any player,
coach, and/or fans.
• first yellow card will result in a warning
• 2nd yellow at any time will result in a one game suspension
(two in one game, suspended for duration of that game and their next game)
• 3rd yellow at any time will result in a two game suspension
• 4th yellow will result in the dismissal from the league

4) Red Cards: will NOT be TOLERATED!!
• first red card will result in a two game suspension
• 2nd red card will result in the dismissal from the league
*Note: Any suspended or dismissed player/coach will not be reimbursed any of the league fees for any reason. The league, director, sponsors, employees, affiliates, and/or volunteers will not be held responsible.

Rosters: There is a minimum of 12 players required per team. We suggest a roster of 15-16 players, but it is the coach’s discretion as to the final number of players. The rosters are to include; name, address, birth date, sex, and phone number. Please include all of the coaches e-mail addresses and phone #’s on the roster. All rosters are final and no additions or substitutions may be made after July 1st.

Coaches: Please provide the league director with all your players’ jersey numbers
for the entire summer season.
*Note: DO NOT CHANGE the player’s numbers for duration of the league schedule.

Please emphasize that they must have their league shirt to play!! No Shirt…No Play…No Exceptions!

Again the league and all of its affiliates will not be financially responsible for the game you miss.

Forfeits: Please make every effort to ensure your players are notified of their games and any changes that may occur. Some teams travel a good distance to play, along with parents, officials, etc.
