Vineland Recreational Soccer Program Information
VSA Rec. Soccer program is available for players ages 6-12. The VSA Rec program is based off of the NJYS Birth Year format.
VSA Rec. consists of two separate registrations for Fall & Spring. Players must be registered separately for each season.
Each season consists of 8-10 weeks pending Holiday weekends(Columbus Weekend/Easter Weekend). Each season consists of up to 8 games.
Games & Practices:
Rec. Practices are 1-2 times per week.
Games are Saturday mornings with up to 2 Friday night games.
Equipment:
All VSA registered Rec. players will receive a Full Uniform (T-Shirt, Shorts, Socks)
Players are required to have their own Shin Guards and Cleats in order to participate in practices and games.
All VSA Coaches are provided USYS Coaching Plans and Equipment including balls.
Teams:
Teams are newly created each season with new or returning volunteer coaches.
U5/6, U9/10, and U11/12 are coed with boys and girls playing together.
U7/8 is separated into boys and girls divisions due to larger registration numbers.
Divisions:
VSA has (4) Divisions groups based on 2 years of age. Divisions are per NJYS Birth Year format.
U11/12, U9/10, U7/8 U5/6
Divisions are combined due to numerous factors such as registration numbers, birth year, availability of coaches, field space, etc.
Costs:
VSA Rec. Soccer $100 per season
Late Fee of $25 applies after set registration dates (August for Fall/ Feb 1st for Spring)
Registration Dates: Fall 6/1-7/15(Regular) 7/31-8/1(Late) Spring 12/1-1/31(Regular) 2/1-2/7(Late)

*Non-volunteer fee of $5.00 per player added. These funds are collected to help offset costs for VSA players facing hardship situations.
